Top 10 CSGO Best Crosshairs (Used By The Best Players In The World)

Best Crosshairs in CSGO
Crosshairs make or break your gameplay, these little guides are basically the heart of every FPS games, even in CS:GO.

Crosshairs are fundamental when it comes to playing FPS. Having the right crosshair would most likely improve your skill and aim at playing a shooter game.

Throughout the years, the competition has made CS: GO players find ways to improve themselves. Like you, people have also experimented numerous times with their crosshairs, tweaking them to perfection, if only such a thing existed. However, there are still some people who still can't rule out the best in their opinion.

Their solution then and now? Copying the Crosshairs of the Pros.

First of all, before we get into it, I would like to point out my criteria for judging and choosing the top 10 of this list:

  •  Beginner Friendly: This factor is one of the aspects that I think helped in choosing the crosshairs included in the list. By beginner-friendly, I mean a crosshair of just the right size, not too big or too small, a crosshair that people would mostly find to be similar to other FPS games.
  •  Enemy Visibility: The main essence of FPS games is getting a kill by shooting your enemies. Using such a large crosshair or even too small can make it too hard for you to hit a headshot or even the easiest of shots. (unless you are s1mple or ZywOo)
  •  Pleasing: Crosshairs existed to aim at people (in-game, please not at people in real life), or we can sometimes call them a guide. The crosshairs that you choose cannot be too out of the ordinary as to not divert your attention to it while trying to aim at the enemy.

With that in mind, let us dive into the Top 10 Best Crosshairs in CSGO used by the Best Players.

10. ZywOo

Small but enough for a god, at least.

First on our list is ZywOo’s crosshair. Many people might be wondering why a CSGO French god such as him is at the bottom of our list. Well, in all honesty, it is too small. Not only is his crosshair not beginner-friendly, but it is also hard for many who have a hard time aiming. So unless you are ranked Master Guardian or higher, I suggest you stray away from this one. It also depends on whether you have a stretched resolution.

Who is ZywOo?

ZywOo is a French CS: GO player playing for Team Vitality as its Main Awper. He is seen as a god by many for topping the HLTV player rankings for two years in a row. He has a reason why he uses such a minuscule-sized crosshair, for he currently boasts a 1.28 K/D ratio and a 40% headshot percentage, next to the CS: GO god himself, s1mple.

Pros of ZywOo’s Crosshair:

  • Easy to See (I mean, it's hard to see the crosshair than the enemy)
  • Small and easier to hit headshots, most especially for gifted aimers.
  • Preferable for Experienced Players or for those practising to aim better.

ZywOo’s Crosshair Settings:

    cl_crosshairsize 1; cl_crosshairstyle 4; cl_crosshairgap -3; cl_crosshairdot 0; cl_crosshairthickness 0; cl_crosshair_drawoutline 0; cl_crosshair_outlinethickness 0.5; cl_crosshaircolor 1; cl_crosshaircolor_r 255; cl_crosshaircolor_g 255; cl_crosshaircolor_b 255; cl_crosshair_sniper_width 1;

9. Twistzz

Another gift to the aimers at home, from the Canadian beast.

At number 9 is Twistzz’s crosshair. You probably have already guessed why a consistent headshot grinder is once again at the bottom of the list. It is because he is so good at aiming and popping heads, and you know the rest. Nevertheless, it is a good crosshair for those higher ranked. Another problem with it is its purple colour, seeing as it might be the only colourful thing when you start a game can be distracting at times.

Who is Twistzz?

Hailing from Canada, Russel “Twistzz” Van Dulken is a rifler currently playing for FaZe Clan. He is known as a part of probably the best Team Liquid CS: GO roster in history. They proved it when they won the million-dollar Grand Slam back in 2019.

Twistzz is currently one of the best aimers in the game, boasting a 65% headshot percentage, following ScreaM, the headshot machine at 68%.

Pros of Twistzz’s Crosshair:

  • Its unique colour might help with aiming better be distinct from the surroundings.
  • It is preferable when trying to be a head-clicker
  • Good for Stretched Resolution

Twistzz’s Crosshair Settings:

cl_crosshair_drawoutline 0; cl_crosshair_sniper_width 1; cl_crosshairalpha 255; cl_crosshaircolor 5; cl_crosshaircolor_b 255; cl_crosshaircolor_g 0; cl_crosshaircolor_r 255; cl_crosshairdot 0; cl_crosshairgap -3; cl_crosshairgap_useweaponvalue 0; cl_crosshairsize 3; cl_crosshairstyle 4; cl_crosshairthickness 1;

8. s1mple

Here’s one from the god, for the gods of aiming out there.

At number 8 of this list is none other than s1mple himself. Despite changing his crosshair a lot of times, he is very consistent with his gameplay. The crosshair that he uses right now is a small blue crosshair with a dot in the middle. The thin structure makes enemies more visible, as well as not being too distracting to our eyes.

Other than that, this crosshair is the smallest on this list alongside ZywOo, with a size of just 1. Who knows what wonders he has done using this small blue entity.

Who is s1mple?

Is this even a question? You may have heard the name of Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev even at least once if you play CS: GO. He is coined as "the greatest of all time" for his extraordinary game sense. He can create impossible plays that bring everyone in awe.

He is currently the main awper for Natus Vincere and sports the highest K/D ratio in all of CS: GO for 2021 - 1.32.

Pros of s1mple’s Crosshair:

  • It is easy to spot enemies with it.
  • Not distracting either, easier for one-tapping.
  • A dot in the middle that helps more with aiming for some inexperienced players.

s1mple’s crosshair settings:

    cl_crosshairalpha 255; cl_crosshaircolor 4; cl_crosshairdot 1; cl_crosshairgap -2; cl_crosshairsize 1; cl_crosshairstyle 5; cl_crosshairusealpha 1; cl_crosshairthickness 0; cl_crosshair_drawoutline 0; cl_crosshair_sniper_width 1; cl_crosshaircolor_r 255; cl_crosshaircolor_g 255; cl_crosshaircolor_b 200;

7. dev1ce

Bright and Yellow

Coming in at 7th on our list is also one of the best players in the world. dev1ce’s crosshair is a unique yellow colour that also is thicc and has an open space in the middle. It is easy to use in dark corners due to it being a light yellow. It also helps with aiming at enemies due to the difference in the values of the colours. This crosshair could also be one of the reasons for dev1ce’s consistency for all the recent clinical plays he made in the Pro Circuit.

Who is dev1ce?

Nikolai “dev1ce” Reedtz is a Danish CS: GO player currently playing for Ninjas in Pyjamas. He is well known for being one of the core members of Astralis. Together with the team, he won 4 majors (the highest form of competition in the scene). Astralis is the only team to have won that much in all of its histories.

One thing that rhymes with dev1ce is his consistency, ever since the rise of the CS: GO esports scene. Always a part of the top 20 rankings of HLTV until this day, showing just how much skill the Danish player has for the game.

Pros of dev1ce’s crosshair:

  • Visible in low values (dark areas)
  • Beginner-Friendly
  • Simple design; avoiding distraction.

dev1ce’s crosshair settings:

cl_crosshairstyle 4; cl_crosshaircolor 2; cl_crosshairsize 2; cl_crosshairgap -2; cl_crosshairthickness 1; cl_crosshairdot 0; cl_crosshair_drawoutline 1; cl_crosshair_sniper_width 1; cl_crosshairalpha 250; cl_crosshaircolor_b 0; cl_crosshaircolor_g 213; cl_crosshaircolor_r 126;

6. HObbit

Kazakh Sharpshooting Machine

Used by one of the only five CIS players to have ever won a major, HObbit presents a sharp-looking crosshair. With a dot in the middle helping more with aiming as a rifler, no wonder he has garnered so many kills in the past few months. The crosshair is uniquely thin, but it is also what makes it unique, as in some cases, too much thickness can divert attention.

Who is HObbit?

Abay “HObbit” Khasenov is a Kazakh player currently playing for Gambit. Best known as one of the members of the Gambit squad led by former Natus Vincere IGL “Zeus” in the PGL Krakow Major Tournament, where they became the crowned champions. Out of the five members, he is the only one who remains in the Gambit roster alongside new and sharpshooting youngsters that brought the Gambit name to new heights. HObbit currently sports a 1.11 K/D ratio.

Pros of HObbit’s crosshair:

  • Basic and slick
  • Not distracting in the slightest
  • Beginner-Friendly considering its larger size compared to the others in this list.

HObbit’s Crosshair Settings:

cl_crosshairsize 3; cl_crosshairgap -2; cl_crosshairthickness 0.4; cl_crosshaircolor 5; cl_crosshaircolor_b 144; cl_crosshaircolor_g 195; cl_crosshaircolor_r 27; cl_crosshairdot 1; cl_crosshairstyle 4; cl_crosshairalpha 250; cl_crosshairgap_useweaponvalue 0; cl_crosshairusealpha 1; cl_crosshair_drawoutline 0; cl_crosshair_dynamic_maxdist_splitratio 0.35; cl_crosshair_dynamic_splitalpha_innermod 1; cl_crosshair_dynamic_splitalpha_outermod 0.5; cl_crosshair_dynamic_splitdist 7;

5. broky

Delicate and deadly

Now entering our top 5, the first up is the bright young awper of FaZe Clan. Lately been making plays worthy of the title ‘godlike’, we now look at his crosshair and see what makes it worth it. Possessing the same size as HObbit’s crosshair, broky immediately enters the Beginner-Friendly category, thus being listed as the 5th. Not only that, but the simplicity of his no-dotted crosshair makes life feel lighter and with FaZe joining the major in the process.

Who is broky?

Helvijs “broky” Saukants is a Latvian Awper currently playing for FaZe Clan. Upon joining FaZe back on the 19th of September in 2019. He has since proven himself to be a worthy replacement for the legendary “Guardian”. broky currently has a 1.12 rating on HLTV.

Pros of broky’s Crosshair:

  • Big and chonky, beginner-friendly
  • Basic but efficient
  • The large gap in the middle makes it easier to get headshots.

broky’s crosshair settings:

cl_crosshair_drawoutline 0; cl_crosshair_sniper_width 2; cl_crosshairalpha 255; cl_crosshaircolor 4; cl_crosshaircolor_b 255; cl_crosshaircolor_g 255; cl_crosshaircolor_r 255; cl_crosshairdot 0; cl_crosshairgap -1; cl_crosshairsize 3; cl_crosshairstyle 4; cl_crosshairthickness 1;

4. electronic

“Get out of the way” - Tobey Macguire

He is considered one of the best riflers to play CS GO. Electronic enters the list at 4th. With a size of 1.5, his crosshair goes down as one of the smallest on this list. Sporting the favourite green and small fashion, it immediately appeals to many players in the community. With also a slight gap in the middle, his aim is extraordinary.

Who is electronic?

Denis “electronic” Sharipov is a Russian CS: GO player currently playing for Natus Vincere as a rifler. Most notably known as being the "sidekick" to s1mple. He utilizes the rifle to mow down enemies while s1mple hitting every disgusting flick he can, sometimes called the ‘dynamic duo’. Ever so consistent since the day he joined the team and until today, electronic boasts a 1.12 rating that his team needs.

Pros of electronic’s crosshair:

  • Appealing to players seeking to improve their aim.
  • ‘s1mple’ and reliable (pun intended)
  • Not distracting and pleasing.

electronic’s crosshair settings:

cl_crosshairalpha 250; cl_crosshaircolor 1; cl_crosshairdot 0; cl_crosshairgap -3; cl_crosshairsize 1.5; cl_crosshairstyle 4; cl_crosshairthickness 1; cl_crosshairusealpha 1; cl_crosshair_drawoutline 0; cl_crosshaircolor_b 165; cl_crosshaircolor_g 255; cl_crosshaircolor_r 0;

3. Ax1Le

Tap your way into the upper echelons of Counter Strike

Coming in at the top 3 is the latest head popper from the ranks of Gambit. Known as one of the Gambit Youngsters who quickly reached the top of the competition in the pro circuit, Ax1Le’s crosshair is one we should inspect. With a size of 3, it is one of the largest on this list. It might be similar to broky’s, but he possessed a thicker one. Ax1Le presents a thinner but still great crosshair to the list.

Who is Ax1Le?

Born in Russia, Sergey “Ax1Le” Rykhtorov is a CS: GO rifler currently playing for Gambit Esports. He rose to fame with his other team members after the academy team of Gambit (Gambit Youngsters) was transitioned into the main roster alongside HObbit. They made an impeccable run through the past few months and won notable tournaments such as IEM Katowice 2021 along the way. Being the high impact player that he is for his team, he boasts a high 1.17 rating.

2. b1t

Just a ‘b1t’ of bullets

A name none of us would be expecting to be here a few months ago. The latest addition to Natus Vincere, the 18-year-old rifler joins the list at number 2. Showing off a size 2 crosshair with elements similar to electronic’s but a ‘b1t’ larger (pun intended), puts this crosshair on the 2nd ranking for this month.

Who is b1t?

Valeriy “b1t” Vakhovskiy was just an academy player for Natus Vincere under the Navi Junior banner. One day in 2021, electronic, was unfortunately disconnected from the server during a match with Heroic. B1t was then immediately substituted to play with the main roster alongside the likes of s1mple - where he showed his worth. Months later, the young Ukrainian was soon integrated into the team after flamie left the main roster after being benched. Since then, he has proven his unbelievable skills. Consecutively, he won the very first S-tier LAN tournament he took part in - IEM Cologne 2021. Currently, b1t sports a rating of 1.06 but boasts a headshot percentage of 64.9%, following Twistzz.

  • Clean and sharp
  • Easy to see with the colours

1. YEKINDAR

Sharp, fit for the .Pros

A great rifler at heart, YEKINDAR tops this list at number 1 with his crosshair. I am not sure if you will believe me if I say that classic is the fashion in this game. Trying to find weird styles for your crosshair is a choice you can decide upon, but everyone can agree that even the simplest of things can bring out the greatest.

YEKINDAR’s crosshair sports the simple green and size '2' style that everybody has come to love. Not only is his crosshair that easy to see through, but it is also easy to aim with it.

Who is YEKINDAR?

Mareks “YEKINDAR'' Galinskis is a Latvian player currently playing for Virtus.pro. Brought into the team from an incomplete ex-AVANGAR roster, YEKINDAR showed the world why he was one of the best. In recent months, YEKINDAR made great plays that are considerably out of this world and merely impossible for many of us to attempt. He currently boasts a rating of 1.21 and a 63.9% headshot percentage.

Pros of YEKINDAR’s Crosshair:

  • Simplicity at its finest
  • Clean and Green
  • Suitable for both beginners and hardened veterans alike.

YEKINDAR’s Crosshair Settings:

cl_crosshair_drawoutline 0; cl_crosshair_sniper_width 1; cl_crosshairalpha 255; cl_crosshaircolor 1; cl_crosshaircolor_b 165; cl_crosshaircolor_g 255; cl_crosshaircolor_r 0; cl_crosshairdot 0; cl_crosshairgap -3; cl_crosshairsize 2; cl_crosshairstyle 4; cl_crosshairthickness 0;

Done and dusted; we went through 10 of the best crosshairs from CS: GO Pros in recent months. Despite the numerous options that you can choose from when deciding on a crosshair to use, it is not always important what crosshair you use.

"The aim is Everything; your crosshair is just a guide."

-some CS GO pro, probably.

Practice hard, and eventually, you will reach that which you dream of grasping.
