Don't Starve Shipwrecked DLC Best Boats
Have you ever dreamed of being a sailor? Well, in Don’t Starve Shipwrecked DLC, your dreams can become reality. And of course, every sailor needs a boat. So here are top 5 Don’t Starve Shipwrecked DLC Best Boats.

5. Raft

The Raft, just like other boats we are going to mention in this article, are all crafted through the Nautical Tab. It is a pretty much basic type of boat, a little bit more expensive than a Log Raft because its ingredients require a machete to obtain. It is slightly faster than a Log Raft and its durability is the same. It is available without a Science Machine or an Alchemy Engine. Therefore, it is accessible even at the very beginning of the game, if you craft a machete.

  • Crafting Requirements: 4 Bamboo, 3 Vine
  • Durability: 150
  • Speed: 5
  • Tier: always available
  • Perk: available without Science Machine/Alchemy Engine

4. Encrusted Boat

The Encrusted Boat is not the fastest out there, but it is perfect for tanking mobs in the sea, even boss fights because of its high durability. Just don’t forget to bring your boat repair kits. It also gives you two additional inventory slots, and can also equip a Sail and a Boat Lantern. While moving it loses 1 durability every 3 seconds, making it last up to 5 days. However, it is quite expensive to craft.

  • Crafting Requirements: 6 Boards, 3 Rope, 4 Limestone
  • Durability: 800
  • Speed: 4
  • Tier: Alchemy Engine
  • Perk: High Durability, Additional Inventory Slots

3. Row Boat

The Row Boat is a go-to boat with available Sail and Boat Lantern Slots. It is a pretty decent boat and pretty much cheap to craft. While moving, it loses 1 durability every 5.76 seconds, lasting in total 3 days. It is one of the fastest boats.

  • Crafting Requirements: 3 Boards, 4 Vine
  • Durability: 250
  • Speed: 6
  • Tier: Science Machine
  • Perk: Fast and available with basic resources

2. Cargo Boat

Cargo Boat is a little bit slower than the Row Boat but gives you additional 6 inventory slots, and who doesn’t need those when going on sea adventures?  Its durability is close to the one of the Row Boat, and it loses durability overtime at a rate of 1 per 4.8 seconds, which ultimately makes it last for 3 days. It also has Slots for a Sail and a Boat Lantern.

  • Crafting Requirements: 6 Boards, 3 Rope
  • Durability: 300
  • Speed: 5
  • Tier: Alchemy Engine
  • Perk: Additional 6 inventory slots

1. Armored Boat

The Armored Boat is one of the most popular ones among the players. And, may I say, rightfully so! It is one of the fastest boats out there, along with the rowboat but has higher durability, making the Armored boat good for fighting mobs and bosses in the sea and exploring the map quite fast. Like most of the boats mentioned, it has a Slot for a Sail and a Boat Lantern. While moving, it loses its durability over time with a rate of 1 per 3.84 seconds making it last for 4 days in total.

  • Crafting Requirements: 6 Boards, 3 Rope, 10 Seashell
  • Durability: 500
  • Speed: 6
  • Tier: Alchemy Engine
  • Perk: Fast AND Furious!
