[Top 10] Genshin Impact Best Ore Locations

Genshin Impact Best Ore Locations
This is the places where you could go to fine the ores you could feed into your weapons.

We have our different pet peeves to the characters we use, but wanting them to deal damage is what we have in common. We want our characters to hurt. The fun comes when we beat the living hell out of every monster we meet, so a decent supply of ores for our weapons is a must other than our artifacts.

For maximum efficiency, and since everyone probably has them, pick Razor for easy harvesting and two other Anemo characters to minimize your stamina consumption. You can use Barbatos Ratatouille or Sticky Honey Roast if you’re feeling fancy so you could run for days.

Now, here’s where you can find them:

10. Stormbreaker Point, best for ores

It’s simple and easy to get to. You don’t have enemies to deal with on the way, and all it takes is Razor’s elemental skill to ready those nodes for harvesting.

What makes the Stormbreaker Point mining spot great:

  • No enemies to deal with first
  • Nodes are clumped together

How to get to the Stormbreaker Point mining spot:

  • Teleport to the Waypoint
  • Head north and fly down, you can’t miss it.

9. Wolvendom, best for ores

This one is a bit of a stretch. You have to run far and fly for a bit. You will face a few slimes and Hilichurls, and you can beat them if you want on the way.

What makes the Wolvendom mining spot great:

  • Most enemies could be ignored
  • Nodes are clumped together

How to get to the Wolvendom mining spot:

  • Teleport to Venti’s statue near the Dawn Winery
  • Head north to get to the first clump of nodes
  • Head to the north-west to get to the second much chunkier node

8. Wuwang Hill, best for ascension materials

This one is near the waypoint. There are enemies below that hole. You can kill them if you wish, but if you don’t want to deal with them, then feel free to just hit the nodes and get the hell out of there—maybe pick up the three Violetgrass on the way.

What makes the Wuwang Hill mining spot great:

  • Most enemies could be ignored
  • Nodes are clumped together
  • Three Violetgrasses

How to get to the Wuwang Hill mining spot:

  • Teleport to the waypoint at Wuwang Hill
  • Head north until you find a hole

7. Qingce Village, best of ores

You have two boars to beat for extra meat. One is bound to hit you, so feel free to beat them as revenge. This spot has some Treasure Hoarders, so mug them for those precious insignias if need be.

What makes the Qingce Village mining spots great:

  • Most enemies could be ignored
  • Nodes are clumped together
  • This place only has crystal chunks

How to get to the Qingce Village mining spots:

  • Teleport to the waypoint south of the Qingce Village
  • Climb the nearby cliff, and walk near the small falls.
  • After that, move through the camp and head north to see the other crystal chunks beyond the bamboo trees.

6. Mt. Aocang, best for ores

You have two unavoidable enemies, and it’s the most annoying ones. You’re going to be squaring off against a Geovishap and a Geovishap Hatchling so unload all the elemental bursts you have to kill them quickly. Their drops are still good and would be useful down the line, so it won’t be much of a waste of time.

What makes the Mt. Aocang mining spot great:

  • A decent amount of ores
  • Has Jueyun Chili by the entrance of the cave
  • You can get bone shards here

How to get to the Mt. Aocang mining spot:

  • Teleport to the waypoint of Mt. Aocang
  • Jump off the ledge and fly north-west
  • Trace the cliff, and drop down.
  • Look around and you should see a cave

5. Lingju Pass, best for ores

No enemies to deal with except for a little slime that could only watch as you take its precious minerals away.. All it takes is Razor’s elemental skill to blow everything off and harvest them.

What makes the Lingju Pass mining spot great:

  • No enemies to deal with
  • A decent amount of ores
  • Nodes are clumped together

How to get to the Lingju Pass mining spot:

  • Teleport to the waypoint near the Lingju pass
  • Fly south to the river, you should be able to see that clump

4. Dunyu Ruins, best for ores

You have a lot of Hilichuls and slimes to face. It’s going to be easy to kill them, of course, and it only takes a bit of patience and maneuvering if you don’t want to. You have two spots that you could go for, and the other is a totally avoidable Ruin Guard.

What makes the Dunyu Ruins mining spots great:

  • Few enemies to deal with, with good drops
  • A few crystal chunks

How to get to the Dunyu mining spots:

  • Teleport to Zhongli’s statue at the Dunyu Ruins
  • Fly north-west and down into a broken tower. You should be able to see a camp of Hilichurls, so go down to the place where they keep their slime pets.
  • After walking out, head southwest to see a clump of crystal chunks

3. Mt. Tianheng, best for ores and ascension materials

There’s a lot here. You don’t have to fight anything for your first two clumps and the guards of the third could be ignored. To make it better, the third clump is full of Noctilucous Jades where Geo Crystalflies gather.

What makes the Mt. Tianheng mining spots great:

  • Few enemies that could be ignored
  • Geo Crystalflies
  • Good Clump of nodes
  • Noctilucous Jades

How to get to the Mt. Tianheng mining spots:

  • Teleport to the Mt. Tianheng waypoint
  • Head north-west for your first two clumps
  • Continue heading northeast until you find a cave for the third

2. Mingyun Village, best for ascension materials

It stays true to it being a mining village. Noctilucous Jades. Cor Lapis. Iron Ore. White Iron Chunk. Crystal Chunks. You name it, they have it. You have a lot of mines to visit. There’s a lot of enemies to face, but their drops and the promise of ores that you need would make the enemy encounters worth it.

What makes the Mingyun Village mining spots great:

  • A good supply of ores
  • The nodes are usually clumped together

How to get to the Mingyun Village mining spots:

  • Teleport to the Hidden Palace of Lianshan Formula
  • Head south beyond the trees, then to the cave where you’ll see a bunch of Cor Lapis and Jades.
  • Then, teleport to Zhongli’s statue at the Mingyun Village to get to three mining spots around the area.
  • Finally, teleport to the waypoint of the village to get to the last two remaining mining spots there

1. Guyun Stone Forest, best for ores

It’s not called a Stone Forest for anything. It has a good supply of ores for your weapons. Most of them are fairly accessible, and the only thing that you might face is a single Geovishap that would bother you.

What makes the Guyun Stone Forest mining spot great:

  • A good supply of ores
  • The nodes are usually clumped together
  • Availability of Bone shards because of the Geovishap

How to get to the Guyin Stone Forest mining spots:

  • Teleport to the Guyun Stone Forest waypoint to get to the first clump
  • Teleport to the Domain of Guyun after
  • Head west to the second clump by the broken boat
  • Head south-west to get to the third clump by the mountain
  • Swim down south to get to the last
