GTA Online How To Level Up Fast (Top 10 Ways)GTA Online Stats Guide (Top 20 Tips)

Stats are an essential part of every online game, and just like any other game, stats also have a significant role in GTA Online. GTA Online player stats influence player’s gameplay, providing subtle advantages that can determine the outcome of competitive situations. The key stats players should focus on improving are strength, stamina, flying, lung capacity, shooting, driving, and stealth. Each stat has a different output that serves its purpose for the player. In this article, we shall discuss these stats and how they work in the game.

1. Stamina

So you don't start panting while running from the cops

Starting with the first stat on this list, we have Stamina. Perhaps one of the most important skills to master in the game is stamina, which is the measure of how long the player can run, swim, or cycle at full speed before losing health due to overexertion.

The stamina of a player can be increased by practicing acts like running, swimming, and cycling in either free mode or while doing a mission. There are five stages that you go through while training your stamina; starting with Lethargic, then out of shape, then healthy, climbing onto athlete, then the maximum you can get, tri-athlete.

Get this stat for:

  • Longer running time without getting exhausted
  • Faster sprint that can help you escape gunfire or a fight
  • Faster swimming can prevent you from drowning
  • More chances of winning races
  • Better cycling speed
  • Makes you a difficult target for enemies
  • Makes you a difficult target for enemies

2. Shooting

To get those satisfying headshots

Next up on this list we got shooting. You will spend most of your playtime shooting other players so make sure to max this skill out as early as possible so you can have the upper hand against other players in competitive situations. This skill is the easiest to master, as all you have to do is get hits on your enemies while shooting at them.

Getting headshots is a bonus that will help you maximize this skill even faster. Going to the shooting range and completing their challenges is another method you can use to increase your shooting skills. Improving these skills dampens recoil, reduces reload time, and increases ammo capacity, All these skills help a player have an upper hand against opponents.

Get this stat for:

  • Better accuracy while shooting
  • Better gun handling than other players
  • More ammo than your opponents and faster reload time
  • Great advantage against other players in combat
  • Recoil control helps players be more accurate

3. Strength

Get those muscles pumping

Unlike other stats, Strength does not have such a big impact on gameplay. It is the player's physical power and resilience. Increasing strength boosts up melee damage, speeds up ladder climbing, improves sporting abilities such as tennis and golf, and reduces the damage taken from various sources.

You can increase your strength by taking part in hand-to-hand combat against other players or by playing multiple sports. The five stages of your strength are Fragile, Weak, Average, Tough, and Bodybuilder.

Get this stat for:

  • Stronger punches that give heavy damage
  • Better ability at various sports
  • Improved melee combat
  • Ability to take more damage
  • Faster speed when climbing ladders

4. Stealth

Sneak your way past enemy lines

Another important skill that you can work on is Stealth. Although this has little to no use in free mode, it may be helpful in some missions or heist setups that require the stealth aspect. The skill of remaining undetected can allow the players to move more quickly and quietly in stealth mode which can be accessed by pressing L3 on controller, and that's all this skill has to offer.

You can improve this skill by remaining undetected in stealth or performing sneaky takedowns. The stealth stat has five stages; Clumsy, Loud, Sneaky, Hunter, and Ninja.

Get this stat for:

  • Being undetected during stealth missions
  • Successful sneaky takedowns
  • Able to sneak past enemies
  •  Useful for heist setup missions

5. Flying

The next important stat we have on the list is flying. It is the player’s skill in the cockpit of various aircraft. It measures the ability to control and maneuver different aircraft that serve different purposes. This ability helps the player in taking off, controlling the plane’s turbulence, and especially assists them when landing the aircraft.

You can increase this ability by flying in controlled conditions for a certain period or by completing flight school challenges available in the game. There are five stages of this stat like all the others, including Dangerous, RC pilot, Commercial Pilot, Fighter Pilot, and Ace.

Get this stat for:

  • Better maneuvering in the skies
  • Winning air battles against enemies
  • Evading fighter jets or other weaponized aircraft
  • Better handling in aircraft-related missions or activities
  • Operating multipurpose aircrafts

6. Driving

You will be doing alot of that in the game

Perhaps one of the most important things that you will be doing a lot of in the game, is driving. Although the controls are simple, it is necessary to master this skill and thrive in it if you want to escape enemies trying to blow you up, which happens a lot. This skill behind the wheel allows the player to perform wheelies on bikes or some muscle cars easily while retaining control. It also allows the player to keep control of the vehicle while it's in the air.

You can max up this ability by holding wheelies for a long time or by landing big jumps successfully. The five stages of this stat are; Unlicensed, Sunday Driver, Commuter, Street Racer, and Pro-Racer.

Get this stat for:

  • Faster driving skills to win you races
  • Better drift ability
  • Escaping from the cops or enemies
  • Performing longer wheelies and stunts
  • Better control while mid-air
  • Achieving the top speed on the car
  • Getting swift control over the car

7. Lung Capacity

Lastly, we have the stat known as lung capacity. It measures the amount of time the player can hold their breath underwater. It allows the player to remain underwater for a long time without losing any health. You can increase this stat by diving and by swimming underwater. There are no stages for this stat.

Get this stat for:

  • Staying underwater for longer
  • Being able to swim back to shore when stuck
  • Might be useful for some jobs or missions
  • May help you win some races

Those were all the stats covered in full detail, hope this list helps you maximise all your stats and gain the full potential of the game!
