Between her reliable cc and insane nuke strength, Annie is a force to be reckoned with game-changing potential while burning your enemies to dust. A lot of the players we see below use a similar combo to rain down destruction, it’s the way they bring the pain that sets them apart.

Accidental double kill

Have you accidentally succeeded? Huzzy has. After skillfully playing for time while Shen’s ultimate lands, Huzzy sends Tibbers off to attack Corki during battle. Having forgotten about his stuffed friend, Huzzy focussed on taking down Warwick then found himself with a nice double kill at 10 minutes.

Quadra kill plus a dragon

The best Annie players know that it’s all about timing. Waiting for just the right moment is crucial for unleashing Annie’s maximum potential. By doing just this, RedRiding Annie flips a dangerous 4v4 into quadra kill for Akali plus a dragon for the team.

Annie vs. Poppy

If you want to get to Annie you’re going to have to go through her best friend Tibbers first. With Tibbers alive for just a few moments, 천안애니 sends him to zone out and lay down some damage on Poppy while waiting for her cooldowns to ultimately bring Poppy down.  천안애니’s use of space and zoning is what landed them the #8 spot on our top 10.

Perfect timing

Timing, timing, timing. Have I said timing enough yet? Ok. Well, SweetJimothy read both the mind and the watch of the opposing team’s Leona and waited until she used her ultimate to move forward and nuke the 4 enemies who had clumped together in mid lane.

Annie triple kill

Annie collapsing in behind you is never a pleasant sight to see. Especially one moving quickly with a stun ready and flash up. Cleverly using her teleport at just the right moment, Sebeks turns a roughly equal 3v3 into a dominant triple kill while only losing Skarner. Sebeks’s global awareness and ability to properly time their teleport, activatable items, stun counter and assembly of opponents landed her at #6 in our tier list.

Machiavellian Annie

Not attempting to save their comrade Illaoi, Itsnot George foresaw the enemy team’s choice to chase Blitzcrank and laid in wait like a crouching tiger. Using Annie’s insane AOE burst damage and crowd control, Itsnot George crushes Thresh, Ezreal, and delegates the Caitlyn kill to her best friend Tibbers.

Don’t feed Annie. Just don’t do it. If you do, you’ll regret it. Especially if Foxiest Ahriven is playing her. If you’ve already done these things, the least you can do is not clump together. Practice social distancing on the Rift! If you don’t, this video is what will happen. Capitalizing on their lead, Foxiest Ahriven sees the opposing team close together and does what Annie does best...annihilates them, resulting in an easy pentakill.

3. You Can’t Hide from Tibbers by Fart Box Cello

Lengthy Annie pentakill

In the longest play among our Annie masters, Fart Box Cello shows us that Annie is no one-trick pony. Throughout a long fight which becomes a 1v5, we learn that Annie can do more than just burst a group one time. Using Annie’s low cooldowns and stun capabilities, Fart Box Cello nukes one person after another then when only Thresh remains, they send Tibbers after him to lay down some damage. As Tibbers is bringing Thresh down to nukable level, Annie pushes the minion wave to the enemy nexus turrets before turning her attention to Thresh to solidify her pentakill.

Annie close call

Starting with what seems like an easy 2v1, Annie and Lee Sin move on Nocturne. However, they didn’t anticipate Nocturne’s ability to annihilate Lee Sin. Moments after Lee Sin joins the fight, nocturne kills him and the opposing team’s Kindred comes into the fray. In an attempt to save Nocturne from Annie, Kindred uses her ultimate which prevents any living thing within it from dying. But by doing this, Kindred ultimately dooms Nocturne and allows Hide on Bush to stack Annie’s stun up and escape with the kill.

Here, Annie Bot provides us an example of just how powerful Annie can be in a defensive way as well as offensive. With a blend of zoning from Tibbers, careful positioning and well-placed stuns, Annie Bot can avoid what would for almost anyone else be a sure death and walk out with a kill.
