In Rust, skins can be ridiculously expensive. Some cost many times more than the base game itself, and others cost more than a decently powerful PC! Why anyone would bother to spend their hard-earned money on a purely aesthetic part of this game is beyond me, but here is a list of the top 15 most expensive skins in Rust.

15. Military Camo MP5

The MP5 is such a basic and often used gun in Rust, so it makes sense that you might want a skin to liven things up. This skin is a handsome combination of military camo and rugged wood and metal texturing. You’ll feel like some kind of commando operative somebody, though it will cost you a pretty penny.

What makes this skin great:

• The camouflage and worn material appearance makes it look like a gun straight out of the Vietnam war.
• As with all skins on this list, it’s a way to flaunt either your great wealth or insane devotion to the game.

Do you fantasize about being a fireman? Do you just like the style of a fireman’s outfit? If either of these questions apply to you, then this might be a skin to try out! It will cost you roughly 10 times the base game price, though.

• While not actually able to resist fire damage, this coat does look pretty nice
• I wonder if those stripes are really reflective?

When I look at this skin, one name comes to mind: Pennywise. You know, the clown from It? Just look at those teeth… And the blood of what I can only assume are his child victims.

Another tempered metal skin. I just can’t get enough of these color schemes and textures, and apparently neither can the Rust community! They just keep showing up on my lists. And you know what, I like it!

• I think I would be too distracted by the skin to be able to use this well.

• You might have to sell your soul to the devil… because that’s about what this skin costs.

What do you get when you cross a piece of handcrafted SMG with an alien laser gun? The answer is this skin! It has the appearance of a haphazardly assembled Rust firearm coupled with the futuristic design that you might expect from an extraterrestrial civilization.

• I would half expect this thing to shoot laser beams.
• A very stylish looking gun.
• Over $1000 dollars might sound like a lot, but people have bought this!

This is a beautiful skin. I wish my door looked like this in real life! One thing that comes to mind when I look at this is the Lord of the Rings, such as an elvish design. Anyone agree?
