5. Basic Axe

This is the first axe you get.

This Axe is one of the Starter Tools that you get at the beginning of the game. It’s great for doing some easy work around the farm, but nothing too crazy.

  • You don’t have to buy it.
  • It takes 10 hits to chop a fully-grown tree.
  • It takes 5 hits to chop a small stump.

How to get Starter Axe:

  • You’re not required to do anything to get the Starter Axe.

4. Copper Axe

This is the first upgrade of the axe.

The Copper Axe is the next upgrade from the Starter Axe and you can get it from the Blacksmith. This one is great because it can do everything the other axes can and it is also very easy to acquire.

Why Copper Axe is great:

  • It can chop Large Stumps.
  • It takes 8 hits to chop a fully-grown tree.
  • It takes 4 hits to chop a small stump.

How to get Copper Axe:

  • Have 2000g.
  • Get 5 Copper Bars.
  • Go to the Blacksmith and upgrade your Starter Axe.

3. Steel Axe

This is the second upgrade of the axe.

The Steel Axe is the next upgrade from the Copper Axe. This can also be upgraded by the Blacksmith. This might be the perfect Axe for you because it’s not too pricey and it gets the job done fast.

Why Steel Axe is great:

  • It can chop Large Logs.
  • It takes 6 hits to chop a fully-grown tree and 3 hits for a small stump.
  • It takes 3 hits to chop a stage 4 tree, and 2 hits for a stage 3 tree and below.

How to get Steel Axe:

  • Have 5000g.
  • Get 5 Iron Bars.
  • Go to the Blacksmith and upgrade your Copper Axe.

2. Gold Axe

This is the third upgrade of the axe.

The Gold Axe is the next upgrade from the Steel Axe, achieved by going to the Blacksmith. Use this if you want to look cool and rich!

Why Gold Axe is great:

  • It takes 4 hits to chop a fully-grown tree.
  • It takes 2 hits to chop a small stump.
  • It takes 2 hits to chop a stage 4 tree and 1 hit for a stage 3 tree and below.

How to get Gold Axe:

  • Have 10000g.
  • Get 5 Gold Bars.
  • Go to the Blacksmith and upgrade your Steel Axe.

Gold Axe details:

 

1. Iridium Axe

This is the fourth upgrade of the axe.

This Axe is the last upgrade you can do, and it is the best out of all of them. You can also get it from the Blacksmith. This is the MVP of all Axes and it’s also the hardest to acquire, but it’s worth it!

Why Iridium Axe is great:

  • It takes 2 hits to chop a fully-grown tree.
  • It takes 1 hit to chop a small stump.
  • It takes 1 hit for a stage 4 tree and below.

How to get Iridium Axe:

  • Have 25000g.
  • Get 5 Iridium Bars.
  • Go to the Blacksmith and upgrade your Gold Axe.
