‘Arctic Awakening’ is a narrative first-person survival adventure set in the frigid Arctic. A vicious arctic storm turns a routine supply drop run into a deadly nightmare as your plane goes down, leaving you lost and alone in the frigid Arctic wilderness.

When the storm hit, your plane got ripped in half and you tumbled down into the darkness with your therapy bot, ‘Alfie.’ Your co-pilot Donovan disappeared during the crash, and you have no idea if he survived, or where he landed his parachute if he did. You’re on your own…

The first thing you need to do is find shelter and protection against the biting cold that will kill you faster than you’d believe possible. Once you’ve made sure you’re not gonna turn into a human icicle overnight, you need to start planning your next steps. 

There is a slight chance that Donovan might have survived. When it comes to survival, 2 are usually better than one, so it would be in your best interest to try and find Donovan. Your therapy bot, ‘Alfie,’ is there to help guide you and help you find the stuff that you need.

As you embark on your journey to try and find Donovan and then find a way back to safety and civilization, you need to think very carefully about each choice that you make. This narrative adventure won’t forgive you for making bad choices!

Every choice that you make will affect your relationships with your companions that you meet along the way, and ultimately they will determine how your story will end. You can freely explore the map in the area where you crashed, battling the harsh elements, dangerous wildlife, and difficult circumstances as you try and unravel what it was that destroyed your plane. 

You might also want to figure out where the strange noises after dark are coming from. You wouldn’t want to have any more nasty surprises jumping on you in the dark, now would you?

The developers have promised that new episodes with new adventures, new characters, and new mysteries to solve, will be added to the game progressively.

‘Arctic Awakening’ is developed by ‘Goldfire Studios,’ and is coming to Steam in 2023!
