Nobody likes the idea of getting sent to a mental institute. Unless they’re crazy of course… Wait… maybe not. Either way, mental institutes have never been depicted as a happy place to go. The sadness and suffering experienced in them are too great. The colors are drab, utilitarian. Nothing much to write home about.

‘Asylum’ is a supernatural horror survival game set in a mental institute, with the darkness and fear much darker forces than just madness out to get whoever sets foot inside. According to its developers, the game has been in development for 10 years with a completely unique and original storyline that will send chills down any spine that fiddles with it.

‘Asylum’ is set in the ‘Hanwell Mental Institute’ and follows the ghastly events witnessed by a silent witness in the institute. According to developers, the game focuses on “storytelling and atmosphere” and does not stoop to “pixel hunting or boring math puzzles.”

With every step, players take through the putrid, decrepit mental institute haunted by a deep darkness a new horror awaits… Every corner turned brings more darkness and fear, with no idea what will jump out of the silent shadows with heartstopping malice.

‘Asylum’ features a soundtrack inspired by a range of “vintage horror productions” to add a confusing mix of horrifying memories to the already-terrifying experience of trying to find a way through the institute and to the bottom of the darkness at its heart.

‘Asylum’ is developed by the ‘Senscape,’ the developers of ‘Scratches’ and ‘Serena.’ The game is scheduled for release as soon as possible, with no specific date having been specified as yet.
