Black Steel Brings Machines To Life to Haunt Their Creators
Nothing is as scary as your fastest car chasing you to chomp your head off.

The possibility that machines will someday come to life and turn against the human race, possibly exterminating us due to their lack of emotions and their superior strength and resilience, has long been the worst nightmare of AI developers, robot builders and, designers.

Black Steel’ brings this nightmare to life. The game is set in an old car factory that has been abandoned for a long, long time, and where things have taken a strange, dark twist.

Strange happenings in the old Flamel Motors car factory have brought every piece of metal in the place to life. And there is a lot of metal in car factories… Everything from the partially assembled cars, the machinery, the storage containers, the tools, even the building, has metal in it.

Players must progress through the factory, maintaining a stealthy approach throughout their mission, as any object could wake up and rip their character to pieces, or announce the presence of an intruder.

At the center of everything are mysterious alchemical practices and knowledge, requiring players to learn a variety of alchemical facts as they progress to allow them to solve puzzles, unlock new areas, and fight the dangers that they encounter.

Alchemical patterns are crucial to solving the puzzles that the game throws at players, and according to developers they can also be used to avoid danger. Furthermore, developers state that the game has been developed in a “fantasy noir setting” and is inspired by the “Dresden Files.”

‘Black Steel’ is developed by ‘Glob Games Studio’ and is available on Steam.
