Landing on the moon was great progress in humanity’s history. So far, there are no mining colonies on the moon, or out in space, but with the rise of affordable space travel, it won’t be long before someone starts delving into the mineral wealth of the universe.

‘Dark Moon’ is a survival strategy game on the Moon. The Moon mining operation’s electronics have failed due to a massive solar storm, and you find yourself stuck on the moon under dangerous circumstances with no way to contact anyone back home!

You need to pack up your crew and resources in the “Mechaplex,” which is a lunar engineering vehicle, and travel across the moon trying to figure out a way to contact Earth for help. The solar storm has caused a severe rise in solar radiation. This means that you MUST stay out of the light on the moon. Venturing into the light means certain death!

Everywhere you go, you need to watch out because you never know what lies waiting for you in the dark. As you travel, you need to carefully manage your crew and resources so that you don’t run out of anything and function with optimal efficiency.

You may find new crew members along the way from other mining operations / lunar stations that can make a valuable contribution to your team. Every decision that you make will affect your entire team, as well as the relationships between crew members. Making bad decisions can result in mutiny. 

However, even popular crew members must be held accountable for their actions and punished if they break the rules to maintain the strict discipline aboard the Mech that will be required if you are to survive. There is a fine balance between keeping people happy and maintaining discipline!

Prove to your crew and the world that you are worthy of your position as you carry out your mission and find a way to save yourself and your crew!
