GTA Online: How To Level Up Fast (Top 10 Ways)

In the competitive world of GTA Online, it is important to climb up the ranks and reach the maximum level. Not only will this improve your reputation in the gaming community, but you will also be able to unlock more components in the game like different weapons. This article will teach about GTA Online's top 10 ways to level up fast.

10. Create a mission playlist

There is a wide variety of missions available in GTA Online that you can do with your friends or by yourself. While some missions are considered underwhelming to level, some grant you a great deal of RP that you need to up your level.

Creating a playlist of such missions will help you keep track of them and you can grind them whenever you feel like gaining some extra RP. This method is highly recommended for new players.

How it works:

  • Go to the pause menu
  • Go to jobs in the online section
  • Select the ones that have a high RP payout
  • Place them in a playlist and play it

9. Keep the cops on your tail

Love causing chaos in the game? Why not earn some extra RP while at it! Yes, gaining a wanted level and then losing it gains you some RP. The higher the wanted level, the more RP you will receive upon evading the cops.

It may not be the most efficient way to earn RP, but it was worth mentioning in the list, since you are going to be doing illegal things and causing attraction to yourself, wouldn't hurt to earn some RP while at it.

How it works:

  • Gain a wanted level
  • Cause chaos to increase your wanted level
  • Evade the cops and earn some RP

8. Racing

Racing is the perfect way to have fun and earn some RP at the same time. All you need is a decent car and you can hop on the track and compete with other players for the podium finish. Not only races can get you RP, but they can also earn you a good amount of cash upon winning.

Your goal should be to get that number one spot, but even if you finish dead last, you will still be able to earn some RP for yourself, so regardless of the result, it will be a win-win situation.

How it works:

  • Get yourself a decent car
  • Join or Create a race
  • Try to finish first to gain maximum RP

7. Daily Objectives

One overlooked feature of the game is the Daily Objectives Rockstar sends your way. These are short simple challenges that refresh every day. Completing these will grant you a decent amount of cash and RP.

Although these rewards may not seem much on a day-to-day basis, If you take a look at them all together after a month, you will notice a significant improvement in your player level as well as your bank balance.

How it works:

  • Go to the pause menu and stats section
  • Go to General and view the current daily objective
  • Complete them and earn RP

6. Weekly Events

One of the most efficient ways to earn a great amount of RP is to keep an eye out for weekly events. Every week Rockstar will have different deals and opportunities going and there's almost always a double RP gain for doing certain activities.

These activities range from Adversary modes to Races, or maybe even some free mode events. Even if you're not interested in the activities holding these awards, you can wait for a week and see the new events with double cash and RP.

How it works:

  • Check the current weekly event
  • Play the activity that is awarding double RP

5. Starting your Organisation

Starting your organisation isn't for every player, but it can most definitely earn you good cash and RP. Being your own boss brings benefits for yourself and your associates.

You can earn some RP by just cruising with your associates, or you could plan some larger projects that can help you rank up. Buying and Selling Cargo is a large-scale project that will help you earn a good amount of cash and RP.

How it works:

  • Buy an Organisation
  • Register yourself as CEO
  • Play through as CEO and collaborate on a large scale

4. Adversary Modes

Adversary Mode is a fun team game that can earn you some respectable RP. It might be very hard or very easy to win these PVP matches, depending on your opponent.

If you have a squad that is similar to others and you put in some effort, you can level up and gain a lot of RP at the expense of other players. You'll discover that it was worthwhile even if you lose.

How it works:

  • Start or Join an Adversary mode
  • Play along
  • Win and earn rewards

3. Crate Drops

This is the go-to solo strategy for many gamers to get a ton of RP with little to no work. You will occasionally receive notifications about cargo drops when you can pilfer the cargo for yourself. You will indeed be facing some formidable, well-armed adversaries.

The contents are mainly random, but if you manage to obtain a Special Crate, you may expect to receive luxuries like heavy armor, carbine rifles, and several thousand in cash, along with roughly 5,000 RP. When you receive this notification, take immediate action if you have the means.

How it works:

  • Wait for a random crate drop to happen
  • Approach the location
  • Fight your way through and grab the crate yourself

2. Survival Missions

In the survival mode, one to four players can defend against ten waves of progressively more powerful opponents. Players have to acquire resources and get ready for the next round in between each wave.

If you're into this kind of gameplay, you can kill enemies to advance in level, and some enemy kills grant you hundreds of replay points. Additionally, clearing the last wave will deposit about $50,000 into your bank account. There are advantages and disadvantages to both teaming up and going it alone when it comes to leveling.

How it works:

  • Start a Survival mission
  • Survive through the waves
  • Gain money and RP

1. Special Cargo

As I mentioned earlier, Special Cargo assignments are your ideal chance to level up swiftly. You can pick up a piece of cargo, drop it off at your warehouse, sell it for a nice profit, and earn some respectable RP as the CEO of your own company and warehouse owner.

You should do this on a server that isn't as busy as possible to avoid having gamers mob you and try to take your goods. It is nearly necessary to have a squad, a sturdy car, and heavy equipment to carry out this dangerous but incredibly profitable task.

How it works:

  • Register yourself as CEO
  • Supply crates to your warehouse
  • Sell them once you have gathered enough
  • Earn a hefty amount of cash and RP
