About - Tara Grimravn: Although Tara's literary love for fantasy and horror blossomed early on, her passion for gaming in those genres didn’t bloom until she began to necromance her way through Norrath in 1999 when SOE released EverQuest. From that point on, she was hooked. An unabashed geek, Tara enjoys writing about the nuts and bolts of storytelling and gaming. She prefers the fantasy and horror genres, especially RPGs of any kind, including EverQuest II and Elder Scrolls Online. She enjoys sharing her love of game and narrative mechanics and design with others, tackling aspects like pacing, visual elements, action cues, and storyline and how they affect the gamer’s experience. Currently, Tara is a member of the Authors Guild and is working on her debut dark fantasy novel Beneath a Red Hunter’s Moon. While earning her MFA, Tara interned as a geek culture journalist, focusing on reviews of horror films and comics. She also writes literary reviews on speculative fiction for Tangent Online.
