[Top 3] Final Fantasy 7 Remake Best Aerith Builds
It's time to heal my members!

So the fandom of Final Fantasy 7 Remake is divided between two girls, and those are Tifa and Aerith. Today we’ll be talking about Aerith. Her story is that she’s the last of the “Cetra”, an ancient, powerful race with magical abilities. Due to her immense power, she’s constantly being hunted by Shinra, who wants to exploit her for their gain.

She’s a playable character who is introduced in chapter 8 of the story. She is a ranged mage who can provide support to other party members and is the best spellcaster in the whole game. Her weapon of choice is a magical staff. There are different build paths for Aerith, and we’ll be talking about them today!

Aerith Strengths:

  • The best spellcaster in the whole game.
  • Deals damage from a long range.
  • Has a great MP pool.
  • Has great offensive spells.
  • Has strong healing and supportive spells for party members.
  • Has the ability to cast offensive spells twice in a row.

3. Tank Build

I’ll out heal all of your damage!

This is quite a niche build for Aerith, and it revolves around her being a tank and healing her party members. You don't get much out of this build except that Aerith doesn’t die quickly and she can heal your whole party.

The main weapon in this build is the “Guard Stick'' which increases Aerith's physical and magical defenses. Aerith also gains a spell called “Arcane Ward'' which allows her to cast offensive spells twice. For accessories, you'll want to go with the “Chain Bangle'' and the “Talisman.” Both of these accessories will drastically improve the defenses of Aerith.

The capability of this build is to allow Aerith to tank a lot of damage during fights while being able to heal her party members. Furthermore, you can equip one or two offensive spells and aid your party members with dealing damage, as she can cast them twice due to the ability “Arance Ward.”

What Tank Build Excels In:

  • Not having to focus on dodging the enemy’s attacks with Aerith.
  • Being able to soak up damage.
  • Being able to only focus on healing or reviving the party members.
  • Having lots of physical and magical defenses.
  • Being able to cast offensive spells two times in a row.
  • Assisting the party members with dealing a bit of damage.
  • Allowing your other party members to solely focus on a damage build.

Build Details:

  • Weapon: Guard Stick - leveled up to the max.
  • Accessory 1: Chain Bangle - 50 physical defenses, 50 magical defenses, 4 materia slots.
  • Accessory 2: Talisman - Spirit +5%
  • Spells: Cura, Barrier, Fire.
  • Materia for Guard Stick: Cura, Barrier, Time, Auto-Cure Materia, Ifrit, Fire.
  • Materia for Chain Bangle: MP Up, MP Up, HP Up, HP Up.
  • Summon: Ifrit.

2. Attack Mage

Feel the burn!

The way this build is crafted is to make sure that Aerith has the highest damage output. The way you’ll do that is with materia such as “Magnify” and “Magic Up.” You can also equip “MP Up” materia if you're running out of mana quickly. Also, you’ll want to have a healing spell so you can heal your party members who are on the frontlines, tanking the damage.

You’ll also want to take the summon “Leviathan,” as it deals a ton of damage and increases Aerith’s magic attack by 4. The staff that you’ll be using is the “Mythril Rod,” as it increases Aerith’s magic attack damage and gives her one of the strongest special abilities called “Ray of Judgment.“

The capability of this build is pretty much dealing an insane amount of damage while standing in the backline, allowing your tanks to take up the damage. With the build, you’ll be able to kill anyone, and you’ll also be able to heal your party members who are tanking the damage for you.

What Attack Mage Excels In:

  • Dealing an insane amount of damage in a short time.
  • Being able to kill enemies quickly.
  • Having the highest damage output out of all your party members.
  • Dealing damage from afar where no enemies can get close.
  • Also being able to heal your tanks in the frontline.

Build Details:

  • Weapon: Mythril Rod - leveled up to the max.

  • Accessory 2: Circlet - Max MP + 10%, Magic +5.

1. Support Build

I will protect you!

The best way to build Aerith is full support. It will make hard, difficult battles easier. You’ll also want to make sure that you have “HP Up” and “MP Up” equipped. With this build, you’ll want to keep an eye out for your party members HP.

With this build, it will also allow you to build Cloud and Tifa full-on damage. You’ll also want to have “Revive” equipped if anyone in your party goes down. For the summon, you can go with Carbuncle, which is a support summon.

The main capability of this build is focusing on supporting your party members, keeping them alive, and making sure that none of them die out quickly. If someone does go down, you can revive them with this build and get them back into the fight!

What Support Build Excels In:

  • Supporting your party members from afar.
