Assassin Armor Sets are a great way to create gameplay that reminds you of the OG Assassin’s Creed games. In Odyssey, the assassin vibe is toned down, there are no hidden blades, sneaking and killing from the shadows isn’t that important and the game doesn’t feel like an Assassin’s Creed game all that much. 

However, the game gives you the greatest thing in return, freedom. That means, that if you love playing as an assassin, you can go for it and equip your protagonist with the best gear and armor for an assassin. 

Assassin Armor Sets are the best armor sets that boost the necessary skills and abilities used by assassins. These particular sets will boost your chances to kill the enemies from the shadow, sneak into forts unseen, move silently, etc.

All in all, if you want to feel just like Ezio, but in Ancient Greece, then suit up, get these following sets, and start your assassin life in the Greek World of Odyssey! 

1. Snake Armor Set

A legendary armor set, combining poison with assassination to create the deadliest combination. This phrase sums up the Snake Armor Set. It is a set that will boost your assassin damage and let you use poison along with assassination. Be sure to combine those two to create this deadly mix.   

In my opinion, the armor is an awesome set and one of my favorites. I managed to get it fairly quickly, around the 20th level, so this is a great feature. It boosts your assassin damage which allows you to invest in assassin abilities and use them very efficiently. Altogether the set makes for a great boost to your assassin-style gameplay.

How To Get Snake Armor Set:  
Most of the set can be obtained on your own and you will not have to complete quests from mainline quests. You will have to finish the “Snake in the Grass” quest to receive the Scaled Torso. After this quest, you need to follow the main story and unlock the Cult of Kosmos. Afterward, find all members of the Eyes of Kosmos and eliminate them to get the whole Snake Armor Set. You can obtain the whole set around the 20th level, so start looking for it around that time.

2. Pirate Armor Set

Right off the beginning of the ranking, we start with an awesome legendary armor set. Are you looking for CRIt and Assassin Damage boosts? If the answer is yes, then great, you have just found the armor set that will suit you perfectly. 

The boosts that this set gives you are a great and well-balanced combination of CRIT Chance, CRIT Damage, and the Assassin Damage improvement. I believe that CRIT Chance & Damage suits assassin armor very well and this is what makes the Pirate Armor Set such a good armor to get in Odyssey.

• it is relatively quick to get all the pieces of the set 
• you don’t need to follow the main storyline to get all the armor pieces

You will have to defeat all the members of the Gods of the Aegean Sea to get the whole set. Once you unlock the first member of the branch, you will be able to kill them without completing any mainline quests. To get the last piece of armor you will have to be around level 30.

3. Pilgrim Armor Set

The best Assassin-oriented armor set in the game 

My own personal favorite armor set in AC Odyssey. The Pilgrim Armor Set is a perfect combination of boosts that make your gameplay fun and diverse. With this armor, you will be able to focus on both assassinations, as well as open battles which is my favorite mix in the game. 

The main capabilities and powers of this set are its immense boosts to assassin damage and Adrenaline on Assassination. Both are perfect boosts when playing typical Assassin-like gameplay. Moreover, the armor set boosts damage with daggers, my favorite weapon by the way, and allows for faster movement when crouching. A perfect combination of stealth and power.

How To Get Pilgrim Armor Set:

You will have to travel a bit to get this armor set. To get the whole Pilgrim Armor Set you will have to loot chests at five different locations. These locations are Eleusis Telestarion in Attika, the Temple of Athena in Sparta, the Akropolis of Argos in Argolis, the Temple of the Golden-Bowed Goddess in Malis, and the Temple of Britomartis in Messara. 

4. Master Assassin’s Armor Set 

The perfect armor set for any Master Assassin  

You know you are dealing with an assassin armor set when it has “Assassin” written in its name. The Master Assassin’s Armor Set is a special set in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, which you can get only after completing the third episode of the DLC “Legacy of the First Blade” and I am just going to say that it is worth it! This armor set is my preferred combination, which is poison damage, assassin damage, and something additional. 

This set is in many ways similar to the Snake Armor Set. However, it has one huge advantage over the aforementioned set. One of the boosts it gives is Adrenaline per Hit which is crucial. This boost allows you to use more abilities much faster than before, as long as you hit your opponents. A great combination if you don’t manage to stay hidden.

• increases Adrenaline per Hit
• great perk to the must-use ability with this set: Vanish Ability

How To Get Master Assassin’s Armor Set: 

Once you get to the third episode of Legacy of the First Blade you will face the Order of Dominion. You have to eliminate all the members of the order to get the armor set. What’s more, you will also have to complete the DLC to get it, so once you kill all the members, finish the mainline quests and you will receive the armor.

5. Armor Of The Fallen Set 

The most hellish armor set in the whole game 

Let’s end this ranking with an armor that you can get at the latest point in the game and only in the DLC. This armor is a nice addition to the main game armor sets available. It boosts your Assassin Damage and also boosts Warrior and Hunter Damage which makes it a very versatile armor set. 

My biggest problem with this armor is that it isn’t as great outside Tartaros. It is great to use it there, but apart from that it doesn’t include anything that especially helps in my assassin style of play. However, the Assassin Damage boost is a nice addition anyways.

This is an armor you can only get in the DLC “The Fate of Atlantis”. To get this armor set you will have to complete quests "A New Lease on Death" and "Armr of Atonement". During the first quest you will be able to find the 4 Fallen. Find them and get the armor from them, then complete the second quest.
