Assassin’s Creed IV is a game with a wonderful storyline and gameplay. Assassin's Creed IV is very interesting and what makes it interesting is the pirate theme. The game also features weapons like swords and pistols, so it makes sense that there should be armor as well. Today we’ll talk about the best armor or outfit in the game.

 1. Mayan Outfit

The Mayan Outfit is the Best ARMOR in the game. Honestly, the Mayan Outfit not only looks cool but is also useful. The Mayan outfit can deflect metal projectiles meaning bullets. The Mayan Outfit can be unlocked by Finding all of the Mayan Stalae puzzles.

2. Templar Armor

The 2nd Best armor in the game is the Templar armor. The Templar Armor is an awesome armor that increases resistance to enemy attacks and looks cool too. It is unlocked by getting the 5 Templar keys from Side Missions.

 3. Stealth Outfit

The 3rd Best armor in the game is the Stealth Outfit. The Stealth Outfit boosts the stealth of Edward Kenway. This Outfit is obtained and unlocked when half of the assassin’s contracts are finished.

 4. Hunter Outfit:

The 4th Best armor in the game is the Hunter Outfit. The Hunter Outfits makes the player look like a… well hunter I guess. The Hunter Outfit cannot be bought but instead has got to be crafted. It reduces the range of detection from animals.

 5. Ezio Auditore's Robes:

The Ezio Auditore's Robes is the 5th Best armor in the game. The robe is purely awesome and looks unearthly. This outfit is redeemed through UPlay if you have Assassin's Creed II or 2 other Assassin’s Creed games linked to your UPlay account. The Robes have no special powers but look phenomenal

6. Captain Morgan Redingote

Captain Morgan’s Redingote are the 6th best armor/outfit in the game.

Captain Morgan’s Redingote is a tough and rugged redingote that belonged to the great Captain Morgan.

This is pretty much the only outfit where it’s not going to be everyone else’s cup of tea.

This can be obtained only through Black Island DLC.

 7. Officer’s Outfit

The Officer’s Outfit is the 7th best armor or outfit in the game. The Officers Outfit is an outfit that is highly praised for it’s beauty by the English officers.

The Officers Outfit is really striking with it’s mixture of red and white and is also a fan favourite.

This outfit is obtained by completing the Kenway’s Fleet Mission: Great Reputation I in the Mediterranean Sea Region.

8. Captain Drake’s Outfit

Captain Drake's outfit is the 8th best armor in the game. Captain Drake’s Outfit is an extremely dashing outfit that once belonged to Sir Francis Drake.

This outfit is really really cool and looks awesome with the Red Ribbons here and there.

This outfit can be gotten through the Sacrificed Secrets DLC.

9. Edward The Legend Outfit

Edward the Legend outfit is the 9th best armor/outfit in the game. This outfit was worn by Edward for a brief time near the end of his career. Captain Edward Kenway, legend of the open sea once had a taste for the finer, flashier.

This outfit is one of only two pirate outfits in the whole game.

Edward the Legend Outfit can only be redeemed through Uplay.

10. The Pirate Cloak

The Pirate Cloak is the 10th Best Item in the game. The pirate cloak is one of the standard cloaks that many pirates of the seas once wore to express their pride.

This Outfit is one of the best outfits especially for the price, It is actually very cheap. It can be bought from any shop cheaply. The massive skull at the back is what makes it absolutely epic.

So, in retrospect we find that the the best is the Mayan Outfit and then is the Templar outfit, similarly it is continued with the Stealth Outfit, Hunter’s Outfit, Ezio Auditore’s Robes, Captain Morgan’s Redingote, Officer’s Outfit, Captain Drake’s Outfit, Edward the Legend Outfit and lastly the Pirate Cloak respectively. Now here’s the thing: Do you use the best armor or not?
