One of the best ways to have fun and practice your skills are 1v1 maps in private or community created servers. It’s a great way to combine having fun with practicing skills in a competitive yet light-hearted way. When playing privately with friends it’s a nice way to try to one-up the other person without causing tension or animosity. And on top of that, in community servers you can meet new friends and play against people who are your skill level. Normally in these servers you can also strive to get to the top of the leaderboard and also change skins for your weapons without actually having to own the skin. It’s a fun gamemode to try out and a definite must try for anyone wishing to get in good practice.

10. Awp_Lego_2_HD

Awp_Lego_2 is one of the most popular and classic awp maps ever ported to CSGO. In this HD remake the influential and popular map that many players played in CS 1.6 and Counter Strike: Source is back with better textures. The map has ramps, ladders, and hidden areas where you can AWP from and provides good practice for many situations. Whether you want to quickly peek or hide away around the corners, it’s very well designed for professional practice and casual fun. Luckily this map is available for almost every 1v1 or AWP community server with fun and interesting plugins, so you can experience it with many people also looking for practice and fun.

9. Am_inferno_banana

Another popular map that surfaced with the release of CSGO was the 1v1 map am_inferno_banana. It took the original look of Inferno’s area called “banana” and turned the hallway of death into a quick and fun 1v1 map. Now that Inferno has changed, many people still go back to this map and relive memories of a different time and because of its perfect setup for a 1v1 awp location. On top of all that, it’s a great map to practice awping down long corridors and other such paths. Most CSGO 1v1 servers have inferno_banana as one of their most played and go to maps, so if you want to try it out I highly recommend joining one.

8.  Aim_map_pro

A map that is used by nearly everyone on CSGO, aim_map_pro is one of the most if not most subscribed to maps on Steam for 1v1 situations. For years this map has been used to settle disputes to see who is the best and help professionals and casual players alike practice their skills. Features included in this map allow for players to engage in short or long range battle with opportunities to peek and even wall-bang any player.

7. Aim_redline

The oldest CSGO 1v1 map on this list is Aim_redline. Known as one of the pillars of the CSGO community, this map set the stage for more maps to come and still stands as an amazing 1v1 map that everyone should practice with. It's simple in design with two sides and a few boxes on each side, but also great practice for anyone wishing to peek corners and practice awping. While this map isn’t typically on many CSGO community servers, it’s still a great map to play offline with friends to practice with or just for fun.

6. De_snow_aim 1v1 [ AWP ]

A CSGO map that is typically played around the winter season the most, de_snow_aim is a 1v1 awp map that allows for users to practice their awping skills by peeking and avoiding obstacles. From each side of the map there is a variety of props and containers that are in the way of a clear view, meaning that this is a more quick and close quarters map rather than a one shot and done map. It’s great practice for people looking to practice quickscoping in as well as hiding and preying on enemies.

5. AIM AWP

A simple map in design that offers great practice for awping. Allowing for both long range battles from above and up close awping down below, this map is great for every sort of situation. There is also free access for moving around the map with a bridge connecting the two upper areas and a maze below. Rather than a map that finishes quickly, this map will help with the practice of moving around like you would when playing competitively.

4. AWP Neon

This colorful synthwave inspired CSGO 1v1 map is perfect for practicing with friends while living in the 80’s. Why spend your time practicing in a bleak or boring looking map when you can enjoy this neon paradise. This map includes ladders, ramps, and a maze like interior for you to spend your time practicing up close or from a distance. Not many community servers feature this map so playing it with friends on a private server or offline is recommended.

3. Aim 1vs1  

A small 1v1 map that offers both long and close ranging awping, this map allows for users to practice their awping skills with friends or community server players. This is a fairly popular map that you’ll find on most community servers for its small and fast paced combat based on little cover and straightforward approach. Whether you want to practice or play casually, this is a perfect map for a good time.

2. Awp_arena

Awp_arena is specifically made for using the AWP unlike some of the other maps on the list. This map features a long ranged area with minimal cover that forces you to fight from a distance rather than up close. While the map is not typically used for community servers, it’s fairly popular on its own for just a map used to practice offline with friends.

 The perfect map for AWP 1vs1 is AIM AWP Training. This is a fully fledged 1v1 map that includes many different ways of playing. You can either sit from the back, go up close, hide around edges, or peek from the side. It’s a map that includes a wide variety of training situations that’ll help anyone practice professionally or just to enjoy casually. This isn’t typically found in a community CSGO server so it’s best to play this map offline with friends. And, it can even be used for 5v5 events if you want to step up your game and practice with full teams.
