There is an unwritten rule in all games. A sword makes everything much more fun.

Not everyone will agree with that statement, but it holds true when you apply swords to Destiny 2. These death dealers swingers have been around since the original and have become a staple of power for players. Some of them have complicated stops steps for acquisitions; others are just random drops.

The players who obtain them suddenly wield the ability to cut the enemy down to size. Though not fantastic for a boss fight since Destiny 2 Bosses all seem to have a stomp feature, the damage it does is glorious when the player does cut cover the distance.
