Every selection of spear that is seen as the top 5 will differ depending on who’s making the suggestions. These are mine. I love playing with a spear during my amazing adventures with my friends in the world of Aeterum. It’s so easy to use and deals a great amount of damage. I marvel at the way it moves swiftly and powerfully with each strike. From tip to heel, it is a masterpiece of craftsmanship.

1.  Stormbound Spear of the Brigand

My eyes were heavy, struggling to open as the raindrops fell over me. Slowly, I managed to open my eyes as blue as azoth, staring at the bright azoth lighting as it strikes. I can't help but think it is beautiful as the flashes of blue light dance across the sky.

• Leeching Cyclone: Cyclone hits heal you for 65% of weapon damage (max 3 targets).
• With a gear score of [600-625] or [675-700] you receive random perks.

Here is my opinion on spears. They are useful weapons in a variety of builds, and they offer a wide selection of exceptional abilities. With the Stormbound Spear of the Brigand, I suggest you use Cyclone as it has an extra effect due to the Leeching Cyclone perk. My analysis is that this would work better in a Damager build, and overall it's a great weapon.

What Stormbound Spear of the Brigand Excels In?

Causing Bleed.

•  Keenly jagged if the spear is used right would be powerful.

Cyclone.

• Can gain health thanks to the Leeching Cyclone.

How To Get Stormbound Spear of the Brigand?

It can be obtained from the Starstone Barrows Expedition. Seek the chest that drops for exciting loot. The chest's name is Starston Barrows Mutator Chest it's a legendary grade chest. Here is some extra advice. This spear would be great to pair with a longsword or a bow. Remember Cyclone ability is almost a must with this spear unless you want to waste the perk.

2. Olympian

They say that Olympian was crafted in a temple of the gods, and made from the body of a god. They say its tip was forged with the willpower of a demon. After it was combined it was drenched in the luck of a damned soul. Never forget…

• Fortifying Perforate: With the perforate hit you gain a stack of protection. This will increase your armor by 25% for 6s.

• Refreshing Move: Light attacks and Heavy attacks lessen active cooldowns by 2.5% (0.2s cooldown).
• With a gear score of [600-625] or [675-700] you receive random perks.

Olympian is a very nice spear. It can be used for both PvE and PvP gameplay. As with most spears, The Olympian’s reach is expansive. However, this is one of the best spears within the Aeternum World.

What Olympian Excel at?

Perforcte adds protection.

• This is due to the Fortifying Perforate.

Increased Cooldowns. 

• This is all thanks to the Refreshing Move perk.

How to obtain the Olympian?
Artemis Boon Drop

Obtaining this weapon may not be easy. But know this, it's worth it. It is randomly dropped by any of the creatures within the game as long as you have the boons active. To get the boons activated, you are required to consume one of the following potions:

• Weak Boon of Artemis Potion - Tier I
• Common Boon of Artemis Potion - Tier I
• Common Boon of Artemis Potion - Tier II
• Strong Boon of Artemis Potion - Tier II
• Strong Boon of Artemis Potion - Tier III
• Powerful Boon of Artemis Potion - Tier III
• Powerful Boon of Artemis Potion - Tier IV
• Infused Boon of Artemis Potion - Tier V

Here is some extra advice. The Olympian I think would be effective in almost all builds, but a Semi Tank or Damager would be my recommendation. Remember perforate ability is a necessity with this spear unless you want to waste the perk.

3. Scorpion’s Sting

Carved deep into this fatal spear are the words “Get over here”. Bring your enemy close and obliterate them with the power this spear holds.

• Sundering Javelin: Javelin inflicts Rend to target above 50% Health, reducing the target’s armor by 40% for 10s.
• Trenchant Strikes: Heavy melee attacks deal +23% damage.
• 100% Random Perk.

Here is my opinion, Artifacts are always good weapons but their uses might not be for all. But overall, it is an almost perfect spear. This spear will be great paired with most other weapons. My analysis is that this would work better in a Damager build.

What Scorpion’s Sting Excels In?

Bring close.

•  With the string perk, you can now bring enemies toward you when you use the Javelin ability.

Weaken enemy armor.

• Javelin ability can lessen armor when used right, thanks to Sundering Javelin perk.

Extra damage.

• This is all thanks to Trenchant Strikes perk.

How to obtain the Scorpion’s Sting?

You can obtain Scorpion’s Sting. By the monster below this monster can be found in Brimstone Sand.

• Scorpio Supernal - Level 66 - Family Angry Earth - Requirements Lv 62+ & Content Lv 62+

Here is some extra advice. Make sure you are prepared before seeking this spear. To take down Scorpio Supernal use fire and slash damage as fire deals 30% more damage and slash deals 20% more damage. Good Luck.

4. Molten Spear of the Bridand

Dear hunters, here is a weapon that would suit all your needs. Look as the light shines on its jagged edge tip, and feel the weight of it in your hands. Go forth and slay all your prey.

•  With Desperate Empower when exhausted do 12% more damage.

Weaken enemy armor.

• Javelin ability can lessen armor when used right, thanks to Sundering Javelin perk.

Here is my opinion. This spear is unique due to its healing skill. My analysis is that this would work better in a Support build, it's a great overall weapon though.

• Thanks to Trenchant Recovery we regain health.

Health From Kill.

• Due to Mortal Lifesteal, you gain +10% health on kill.

How to obtain the Second Wind?

It can be obtained from the Lazarus Instrumentality Expedition. Seek the chests that drop for exciting loot.

• Cache of Lazarus Instrumentality Armaments - Epic - III.
• Cache of Mutated Armaments - Legendary - III.
• Lazarus Instrumentality Expedition Chest - Epic.
• Lazarus Instrumentality Mutauor Chest - Legendary.

Please note that these chests drop these Items at random so it might be quite a grind to obtain. This enemy can drop the Chest in the Expedition

• Chardis - Leve; 60 - Family Ancient - Requirements Lv 61-65.

Here is some extra advice. This spear would be great to pair with a life staff or a bow. It can be paired with many weapons but those worked best for me.
