15. Duelling Dragons

The Duelling Dragons Goal Explosion is one of the coolest goal explosions in the game, I mean what is cooler than two giant dragons dancing in sync? Added to the game back in 2017 this goal explosion is a classic and is used by many players in both casual and competitive ranked lobbies.

To get this goal explosion the best way is via trading with other players online.

14.  The Reaper

Released as a limited time reward as part of the Halloween update of 2017, the Reaper is super cool and hilarious as when you score a goal with this explosion, a giant grim reaper pops up and dabs in ode to the popular dance craze of 2017, The Dab.

Unfortunately the only way to now access this goal explosion is via player to player trading and if you want a coloured version of it you will need to have a lot of credits as the black and titanium white versions are currently worth between 70,000 and 80,000 credits.

13. eSports Goal Explosions

Are you a massive fan of Professional Rocket League? Follow a particular team such as Faze Clan or NRG? Then look no further than the several eSports goal explosions that are in the Esports section of the Rocket League Item Store and rep your favourite team in style whilst also contributing to the RLCS prize fund.

To get yourself one simply go to the Rocket League item store, head to the esports tab and select your team!

12. Phoenix Cannon Goal Explosion

In my opinion this goal explosion is one of the best in the game, scored a goal? Now watch lasers beam down from the sky to assert your dominance.This explosion also comes in a huge range of different colours including but not limited to pink, green and titanium white, with the white being the most expensive.

This black market rarity goal can be received by player to player trading 

11. Savage Spray

This crazy goal explosion is currently featured in this seasons Rocket League rocket pass and is well worth the grinding that it takes to get. Coming in a variety of different colours as well as having a super cool animation of a spray can spraying paint all over, this goal explosion is one of the best in the game to flex on your opponents after scoring.

To get this goal explosion you need to simply buy the Rocket Pass for this season and reach tier 70

10. Overgrowth

Released alongside the sixth edition of the rocket pass this goal explosion is one of the coolest in the game, featuring a rapidly growing bonsai tree growing out of the opponents goal.

Unfortunately the only way to get this goal explosion in its original and various colour ways is via player to player trading as the season 6 rocket pass is now unavailable.

9. Paper Dragon Goal Explosion

This super cool origami like  dragon goal explosion was released as a limited time cosmetic as part of the Lucky Lantern events of 2020 and 2021 which now makes it very rare and quite difficult to find however if you can find one i recommend using it as its smooth animation and vivid colours make it very intimidating towards the other team.

As mentioned before this cosmetic is now rare and hard to find however it is possible to receive via player to player trading.

8. T-Rex Goal Explosion

Released as DLC to celebrate the release of Jurassic World at cinemas, this in-your-face style goal explosion features a giant T-Rex dinosaur letting out a huge roar, striking fear and intimidation into your opponents.

The current only way to access this goal explosion and its various colours is by player to player trading on your preferred platform

7. Cosmosis Goal Explosion

Send you opponents into a new dimension after scoring on them with the cosmosis goal explosion. This super cool goal explosion was released in the rocket pass for season 5 and was awarded for reaching tier 69.

To get this super cool goal explosion you have to find a player with it and offer a suitable trade as it's no longer accessible in the regular game.

6. Shade Raid

The shade raid goal explosion adds an old newspaper comic strip style effect to the whole map. It also recently became one of the most expensive cosmetic items in the game too though, at approx 1400 and 2100 credits across all platforms.

To get this goal explosion you will have to find someone with it and offer an acceptable trade

5. Night-mare

Unleash a ghostly stallion onto the pitch and intimidate your opponents in style with this spooky goal explosion. The nightmare is only available via the item store and was last seen in 2021.

To get this goal explosion you can either wait for it to return to the item store or see if anybody is willing to trade it to you.

4. Hades Bomb

This super cool nuke goal explosion destroys everybody in the game every time you score a goal, it's equally devastating and entertaining and well worth using in Rocket League and also comes in many different colours.

Currently the only way to access this goal explosion is via player to player trading.

3. TP Goal Explosion

This hilarious goal explosion sends full rolls of toilet paper all across the pitch when you score and is great to make your opponent feel silly when you score on them, which is perfect for those “lucky” goals you may score via deflection off your opponent or as lucky tap-ins.

Currently the only way to get this goal explosion is via player to player trading.

2. Atomiser

The atomiser is another super cool and rare black market goal explosion that fires multiple coloured particles into the air via a huge explosion, truly putting the term explosion into goal explosion.

This crazy yet stylish rocket league goal explosion is currently only available via player to player trading as it's no longer in the item store, however it may return one day in the future, so be sure to check every day as it's well worth the money.

1. Big Splash

And at number one my favourite goal explosion in the game is the big splash. This bright cartoony goal explosion features an audio clip that says “splash” as you score which means it's super satisfying to hear when you score a beautiful long range strike or a fabulous air dribble.

It's currently only available via player to player trading as it originally featured in the game as a twitch drop for those who have their epic games account linked to twitch and also watched RLCS for the year of 2021.
