[Top 5] CS GO Best Dynamic Crosshairs (Used By Pros)

CS GO Best Dynamic Crosshairs
So you're interested in moving crosshairs?

Crosshairs can be whatever you want them to be, the default static, classic static, or DYNAMIC.

Since the introduction of Counter-Strike: Global Offensive back in 2012, players knew the game would not be the same again. Many changes were made; graphics-wise, performance, and basically changing the entire meta of how CS was played. Many things were added like the Molotov, better movement and changes to the guns.

One thing that captured the eyes of us counter strike enjoyers - was new crosshairs. For many years, players of the old 1.6 and Source games were only presented with a static crosshair. Global Offensive brought about a DYNAMIC (pun intended) change and added Dynamic Crosshairs.

Of course, it cannot be argued that the meta will always be the static crosshairs, but it also does not mean no one uses dynamic crosshairs.

Let me be honest with you, some people use dynamic crosshairs, even the best himself - s1mple.

Dynamic crosshairs have a moving animation as you fire your gun to show the accuracy of the weapon. Spraying means higher bullet spread and less accuracy, and it will show on the crosshair. Many have sided with this style for that reason. To be honest, I recommend this to the beginners out there.

Dynamic Crosshairs can sometimes be annoying, but learning is there, I assure you.

Without further ado, let us head into the top 5 list of the best CS GO Dynamic Crosshairs - being used by pros right now.

5.) Grim

First off on our list is the newest addition to the Team Liquid roster - Michael ‘Grim’ Winche. Grim presents to us a dotted crosshair that many head-clickers love. It is at the bottom of the list for that reason.

I would not recommend something this small to beginners, and yet despite that, it is worth trying.

Precise, just for the reaper himself.

Who is Grim?
Hailing from the United States, Grim is the latest addition to the Team Liquid roster after joining the squad back in 2020, replacing n1tro after transferring to VALORANT. As of late, Grim has been showing a very consistent and game-winning performance that gave Team Liquid an edge in many of their games. He currently has a 1.03 rating on HLTV.

Why Grim’s Crosshair?

  • Easy to spot
  • Not to Distracting
  • Simple

4.) Lucky

Not to be confused with Lucky from Astralis, next on our list is a former G2 player and currently playing for DOUBLE Poney - is Lucas ‘Lucky’ Chastang. He is a French CS GO player and he joins this list at number four with his crosshair.

Simple and green

Who is Lucky?

Lucas ‘Lucky’ Chastang is a french player currently playing for DBL Poney alongside former teammates. He is not really known for anything other than being a mediocre player; he has a nice crosshair, at least. He is also known as one of the G2 players who...

I think it is better left unsaid, let us just say, it was a bit unLucky.

Why Lucky’s Crosshair?

  • Similar to Grim in crosshair size but with more gap in between.
  • A large gap means it becomes obvious to see whenever your spray is going wild.
  • Being less colourful makes it less distracting.

Lucky’s Crosshair Settings

3.) flameZ

Another up and coming rising star joins the list in the form of flameZ. I present this basic yet efficient crosshair that does much more - than just popping the heads of your enemies. Its large gap might just give you that advantage you seek.

Precise and Efficient

Who is flameZ?
Shahar ‘flameZ’ Shushan is an Israeli player currently playing as a rifler for OG Esports. Despite the team not playing that well recently, flameZ has been stacking up his stats and giving commendable performances. He brought some games closer than what they were supposed to be. He currently boasts a 1.12 rating on HLTV.

Why flameZ’s crosshair?

  • Simply dependable, thanks to its large gap.
  • Not only does it help with spraying with its bullet spread animations, but the dot in the middle also helps with aiming at enemies heads.
  • A double-edged blade; can sometimes be distracting due to the dot but can help a lot when used with skill.

flameZ’s crosshair settings:

cl_crosshair_drawoutline 0; cl_crosshair_sniper_width 1; cl_crosshairalpha 255; cl_crosshaircolor 4; cl_crosshaircolor_b 0; cl_crosshaircolor_g 0; cl_crosshaircolor_r 0; cl_crosshairdot 1; cl_crosshairgap -1; cl_crosshairsize 1; cl_crosshairstyle 5; cl_crosshairthickness 0; cl_crosshairusealpha 1;

2.) s1mple

The second person on this list is none other than s1mple himself, it might be a bit of a surprise or not, but he is on this ranking for a good reason. Lately, s1mple has switched into a dynamic crosshair, which may have or have not increased his in-game performance. It could be due to the help of the animations it brings, or maybe just his god-like aim.

He befalls upon us once more

Who is s1mple?

I believe this part was only made for beginners; no CS GO player can not know the name Oleksandr 's1mple’ Kostyliev. He is currently playing as the Main AWPer for the NAVI CSGO squad for years now. Along the way, he has proven himself to be the best in the game.

Just the G.O.A.T.  with a 1.32 HLTV rating, no more explanations, just that.

Why s1mple’s crosshair?

  • One of the crosshairs with so much gap when shooting, his crosshair gives an advantage not only to aiming but spraying as well.
  • Used by the god himself, what could go wrong?
  • For people aiming for the heads, and just some beginners still learning how to spray.

s1mple’s crosshair settings:

cl_crosshairalpha 255; cl_crosshaircolor 4; cl_crosshairdot 1; cl_crosshairgap -2; cl_crosshairsize 1; cl_crosshairstyle 5; cl_crosshairusealpha 1; cl_crosshairthickness 0; cl_crosshair_drawoutline 0; cl_crosshair_sniper_width 1; cl_crosshaircolor_r 255; cl_crosshaircolor_g 255; cl_crosshaircolor_b 200;

1.)  Ax1Le

Entering the top of our list was the top 2 of our Top 10 Best CS GO crosshairs of our last list of crosshairs. Being here once more; shows just how great his crosshair is to both beginners and experienced veterans alike.

Big and reliable

Who is Ax1Le?
Sergey ‘Ax1Le’ Rykhtorov is a Russian Rifler currently playing for Gambit Esports. Starting off as one of the former members of the Gambit Youngsters squad, then quickly climbing through the ranks of the top competition of CS GO. They have proven themselves as one of the best in the game for now. He currently boasts a 1.17 HLTV Rating.

Why Ax1Le’s crosshair?

  • More Gap, Much More Beginner-Friendly
  • Bigger Size, easy to aim enemies with.
  • Looks similar to static, but this is just awesome.

Ax1Le’s crosshair settings:

cl_crosshair_drawoutline 0; cl_crosshair_sniper_width 1; cl_crosshairalpha 255; cl_crosshaircolor 5; cl_crosshaircolor_b 192; cl_crosshaircolor_g 255; cl_crosshaircolor_r 0; cl_crosshairdot 0; cl_crosshairgap -1; cl_crosshairsize 3; cl_crosshairstyle 5; cl_crosshairthickness 0.5;

Choosing what crosshair you think best is up to you; there are a few styles to choose from, it can change how you play the game. You can change your crosshair numerous times until you can find what fits. No one is obliged to stick to one if it does not give you the results you want.

Never forget, it is not the crosshair at fault most of the time; you suck, practice more instead.
