[Top 5] Sims Medieval Best Fatal Flaw

Best Fatal Flaws in Sims Medieval
What do you mean I have FLAWS?

Since when did we have to pick a negative trait for our sims to have? Since Sims Medieval that’s when! Fatal flaws are traits that add a little spice to life, and by spice, I mean problems.

Each Hero sim has 2 traits and 1 fatal flaw, the fatal flaw will negatively affect your sim at random depending on the flaw you pick. Every flaw sucks, but some suck less than others. To make life a little easier, here are the Top 5 Best Fatal Flaws in Sims Medieval.

5. Cursed Fatal Flaw

Somebody woke up on the wrong side of the bed.

This fatal flaw makes the list because its impact is relatively light. With this flaw you will occasionally wake up “cursed” earning you a negative buff that lasts all day, but that is it.

On your cursed days it is a little harder to collect things or win games but again combating those negative buffs with positive buffs from responsibilities is very easy. This Flaw is fine to use with any Hero sim and is overall a pretty mild flaw.

Cursed Fatal Flaw Pros:

  • Easy to manage
  • Great for any Hero
  • Negative Buff is long lasting but can be overpowered by positive Buffs

4. Insomniac Fatal Flaw

A bed fit for a Queen.

If you’ve ever had trouble sleeping, then you can understand the pain of having the Insomniac Fatal Flaw. Being an insomniac means that not only do you have trouble sleeping but sometimes you fall asleep when you do not want to, like in the middle of the day when responsibilities need to get done.

This flaw can be inconvenient but the best way I have found to manage it is to invest in a better bed as early as possible. This can earn you a positive Buff that will outweigh the negative Buff you sometimes get.

Insomniac Fatal Flaw Pros:

  • Buying a better bed can help earn better sleep thus combating when you are not getting enough sleep
  • Annoying but easy to manage
  • I have found it best for the Physician

3. Insecure Fatal Flaw

I guarentee you still think about that weird thing you said in that conversation 5 years ago.

Your sim will wake up anxious on some mornings but just like in real life this can be easily dealt with. The insecure fatal flaw mainly affects socialization. There will be times your sim might earn a negative buff if a conversation is not going well but it is so important for your hero to socialize if they have this flaw!

The sims with this flaw tend to be lonely so this is a great flaw for Heroes who are always around people. Literally interacting with other sims will fight this flaw and prevent most of the negative Bluffs.

Insecure Fatal Flaw Pros:

  • Talk to a lot of people, great if one of your traits is Friendly or Eloquent
  • Great for the Bard, Merchant and Physician
  • If you socialize often, you can avoid one of the negative buffs easily

2. Puny Fatal Flaw

The Puny Fatal Flaw is number two because if picked for the right hero, it will hardly affect you. You are not strong, you won’t be winning any kingball matches or sword fights but if those aren’t things that entertain your sim then this is one of the best fatal flaws.

This fatal flaw makes you physically weak but is manageable if you choose it for a Hero like a Jacoban Priest, a Peteran Priest or anyone who does not have to fight on a regular basis.Remember there is always an opportunity to replace your flaw with a legendary trait.

Puny Fatal Flaw Pros:

  • Easy to manage, great for Priests, Bard or Physician
  • Not prone to disease like those with the Weak Constitution fatal Flaw
  • Minor negative Buff that is easy to overpower with buffs

1. Drunkard Fatal Flaw

It's 5'oclock somewhere!

Starting your day off with a drink is usually frowned upon, but with the Drunkard Fatal Flaw you don’t have much of a choice. Luckily this fatal flaw is the most manageable and you get to throw back a few with your friends.

The best solution to avoid the negative Buff “Need A Drink,” is to place a keg in your home and brew serving sizes every time it's empty. Keep the pitcher on a table and take a drink every morning to keep your flaw satiated.

This is the best fatal flaw because when you drink you also can earn a few positive Buffs that increase your focus, and if you keep up with it you may never experience the negative side of the Drunkard Flaw.

Drunkard Fatal Flaw Pros:

  • Have a drink with breakfast to easily manage
  • Any hero sim can have this fatal flaw
  • If you maintain this flaw, you will never experience the negative Buff
  • Can purchase “Drunk-Me-Not” to cure all alcohol related conditions
